If you have plans on Thursday evenings you need to cancel them. Seriously, we went to the launching of First Thursdays at Encore in Norcross and it was truly spectacular. Ordinarily we would not try to tell you to go anywhere else on a Thursday evening except for Bamboo, but we must give credit where it is due. This is where elegant urban living meets tropical beats and culture.

This is truly a must do on your list. Encore boasts 3 levels of dance floors, a million dollar sound and light show, 4 bars, gourmet chefs, and valet parking. They have dedicated the first Thursday of every month to Caribbean Entertainment. The entertainment ranges from comedy to artists such as Montel Jordan (on other nights), Third World and other local artists. See you next First Thursday (August 7, 2008).
